Why The Wasn't the Government Doing Enough?

First of all, the reason why the Singaporeans thought that the government wasn't doing enough was because of the foreign talents, which would do the same job with lower pay, thus causing Singaporeans to lose out in the competition when they are retrenched.

The second reason of the thought was because the retrenched had the misconception of Lee Kwan Yew and Goh Chock Tong having luxurious life while they were having a hard time to get money

I think that the current government are already doing alot to improve the current situation, unlike what the Singaporeans were thinking of. We should try to appreciate their effort and work harder if we want the quality of life to improve
